Hello!!, I am DMendez3, a Dominican Medical graduated, Ob/Gyn specialist trained in reproductive Medicine in my country and graduated with a Master of Sciences at Columbia University of NYC. For the last 40 years I have been involved in the conduction of clinical research, initially during the HIV/AIDS pandemic and for last fifteen year I have been integrated to the Columbia University Medical Center’s Investigations team to conduct clinical investigation in Alzheimer’s dementia and diseases of the aging brain.
I have served as President, Secretary of the Board, Co-Chairman and actually Chairman for second time of the Board of the Dominican Medical Association Inc. of NY as well as Executive Director of the Foundation for Prevention of Addictions and Domestic Violence NY Carlos Martinez, Inc.
As a well recognized and awarded community leader, I plan to use this platform to further my community and educational activities worldwide.
